It was 1977

​

Jimmy Carter was president.  A gallon of gas was about .65 cents.  At the theater Smokey and the Bandit, Star Wars (Episode IV A New Hope), and Rocky were playing.   Cars were nothing like the cars we have today.  No touchscreens, no Android Auto or Apple Car Play, no Blu Tooth.   ABS, Traction Control, Stabilitrac, SRS Airbags and fuel injection were unheard of.   Jeff's opened way back then.   We rebuilt lots of carburetors, replaced the points and condenser with tune ups, rebuilt transmissions, rebuilt engines.  Jeff's was a busy place.  Every once in a while we would even do a little body work and paint (we don't do body or paint anymore).  Back then cars were simple.  Gradually, lifestyles technology and cars changed.  Jeff's changed with the times.  We were there constantly, working on vehicles the entire time.

 
Jump ahead 40+ years.  Cars are smarter and  more complicated.  Made to keep up with the times and our busy lives.  Jeff's has been there through it all and changed with the times.  Now our diagnostic equipment alone is worth more then the average car back in '77 but such is progress...

Jeff's Repair specializes in Domestic and Asian (Toyota, Honda, Nissan etc.) auto repair. We do everything from oil changes, engine repair, brakes, suspension, HVA/C, electrical diagnostics (the good old “check engine light”) transmission service, tires etc... We don’t do front end alignments (yet) but we will replace the front end parts on your vehicle that may have caused it to come out of alignment in the first place.

On August 1st 2020 Jeff's Repair was purchased by the Burrell's and Burrell LLC.  It was a seamless transition as Dave Burrell has worked at Jeff's since the Summer of '87 and has been solely operating the shop since Jeff's retirement back in the Summer of 2019.
